Robert ``Bob`` Trombley
June 14, 1940 – March 27, 2025
Robert D. Trombley, age 85, of St. Francis (formerly of Spring Lake Park) passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Pat (Vashro); son Jeffrey; daughter Cheryl McAllister (John); grandchildren Kasie Fisher, Jesse, Joel, Tyler and Robert McAllister; ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother David (Jane); sister Patricia Riley (Michael); sister-in-law Judy Turnquist; eight nieces & nephews; ten great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Mary Trombley; brother Raymond Trombley; and parents-in-law, Marge & Leonard Vashro.
Bob grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from North High School in 1958. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, South Dakota. He served four years and was honorably discharged in June 1962.
Bob met the love of his life, Pat Vashro, in 1959 and they were married January 20, 1962.
He built a career in stainless steel sales working in the pipe, valve and fitting industry until retirement.
Bob loved hunting, fishing and golf; he even got a hole-in-one. Summer weekends were often spent at his parents’ lake home in Pine City, making lasting memories with family and friends.
Bob also enjoyed traveling with friends and family, creating many cherished memories along the way.
Though he is no longer with us, Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.

Funeral Services will be held at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale St NW. Oak Grove, MN on Friday April 10th, 2026 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior.
O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed. Forgive any wrongs that have been committed and welcome this beloved spirit into the warm embrace of your unending peace. Amen.
