St. Francis, MN – Richard (Dick) Nelson, 83 of St. Francis, MN passed away on May 21, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones. Dick was born March 9th, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa to his parents Helen and Miles Nelson. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Robert (Suzanne) Nelson, Bonita (William) McLean, Beverly (Fred) Teppen, Ruby (Jay) Braford. Remaining to cherish Dick’s memory is his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Bentler Nelson, children, Chad (Diane Spiva), Kelli (Jack) Skoglund and his twin grandsons Colton and Jaxson Skoglund.
Mass of Christian Burial
Join us to celebrate Dick’s life on Friday June 13th, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011. Visitation begins at 10:00 am with Mass at 11:00. Burial and luncheon to follow.
O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed.
