Kathryn Julkowski
December 3, 1932 – August 11, 2023
Kathryn Mary (Boeser) Julkowski, age 90, of Cedar, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 11th. She was born on December 3rd, 1932 in Minneapolis MN to Leo and Edna Boeser.
Her first job was at A&W where she met her husband Richard Julkowski. They married on July 4th, 1953, and had seven children together. They lived in Northeast Minneapolis for a few years but later moved to Cedar, MN. They were parishioners of St. Patrick Catholic Church for 52 years.
Throughout the years she worked at a few different places. She worked at First National Bank in Mpls, J.C. Penney in Apache Plaza, Cedar Bank, and Beltmann North American Van Line until her retirement in 1995. After that, she worked part-time with her brother Bill at the Waymore Transportation Company for 20 years. Her favorite job though was raising her children as a stay-at-home mom when they were younger.
Kathryn loved roller skating and was skating even in her 40s twice a week. She loved spending time with her family and going to the lake. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, and fishing. Her absolute favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved celebrating with her family and baking delicious sweets enjoyed by all, especially her caramels! Kathryn’s favorite thing of all though was her love for the Lord. Her faith was so important to her and she made sure to never miss a Mass.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her infant son, Dennis; parents, and two sisters. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Debra (Jerry Hop) Hicks, Denise (Ray) Bendijo, and Diane; sons, Danny (Jodi), Doug (Sue), and Dean; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters and six brothers; many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation at 9:00am, Rosary at 10:00am
O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed. Forgive any wrongs that have been committed and welcome this beloved spirit into the warm embrace of your unending peace. Amen.
