Kathleen Weiss
April 14, 1942—June 12, 2026
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma (nana), sister and friend. She was entirely about family, defining what unconditional love truly means.
She knew how to live life to the fullest. She loved bowling, ceramics, her housewives club, trips to the casino, movies, craft sales, bingo, vacations and shopping. She took immense pride in her home, and just as much pride in her appearance. We all share beautiful, core memories of Kathy sitting at the kitchen table, carefully putting on her makeup and curling her hair.
Out in the community, she was a familiar, welcoming face. She brought joy to her work in cosmetics at Shoppers City, in the grocery aisles of Red Owl, and behind the counters at Kowalski’s and Cub Foods.
She took wonderful care of her three children, John, Lynda, and Marie. Her world grew even brighter with her grandchildren: Maddie, Connor, April, Bryan, Nick, Nicole, Sarah, and Joe- whom she loved deeply. Eventually, her ultimate pride and joy arrived with her great-grandchildren: Braven, Ava, Carson, Sofia, Vivian, Tyler, JJ, Miriam, Brooks, Beau, Sonny, and Luka. We are all so incredibly thankful for our family trips to Breezy Point, creating beautiful memories with every generation that will live in our hearts forever.
Kathy also held a deep love for her siblings: Alden (Carol), Tom (Dianne), Mark (Renee), Jimmy (Sandy), Richie (Sherri), Mary (Dennis), Laurie (Greg), and Greg (DeAnn). The love in the Ryan family runs deep.
Kathy always chose positivity, never showed anger, and consistently checked in on her family to make sure everyone was good. We are so deeply thankful for the amazing family she created and held together. She had a loving heart where everyone was welcome, completely accepted, and profoundly loved.
We will keep you close in our hearts until we meet again.

O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed. Forgive any wrongs that have been committed and welcome this beloved spirit into the warm embrace of your unending peace. Amen.
