Edward Wayne Nordstrom

January 19, 1966 – February 16, 2026

“Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as there’s a memory, they live in our hearts to stay.” Ed was a man of many words. A man with a whole heart. A man of forgiveness. A lifetime friend. A man that you not just feel or hear his presence, but a man you would want to be in the presence of. He had great joys in life of travel and would often be found ocean side or dreaming of being there. Ed was a family man, a link in our chain. He cared at great lengths for his mother, Judith Nordstrom, after his father, Gerald Nordstrom’s, passing. He was always there to lend a hand if needed or an ear to listen; if he stopped talking that is. He shared his heart, not with children of his own, but filled his heart with his nieces, nephews, and love for his dogs. Ed had two main passions in life. One of art through his wood working that many hold a piece of. The second was his love for his church where he ushered and volunteered in many ways. He was a man that could always keep you guessing, a contagious laugh, a recognized voice. A man that always knew exactly how to get a smile. Many thoughts and many memories. Ed, you will be forever missed and loved everyday.
