YEAR 2 – THE MASS

(Scroll to the bottom for the Eucharistic Congress Videos)

We have moved into Year 2 Implementation (July 2024 to June 2025), where our focus turns to the Mass – particularly, the Eucharist as the source and summit of Christian life. This is happening in the midst of a National Eucharistic Revival through which so many have already experienced a deeper love for our Eucharistic Lord.

The plan… shares details on how laity, clergy, parishes and Catholic schools will be invited to implement the Year 2 Priority, with the goal of enriching our understanding and lived experience of what is really going on at Mass.  “The beauty of the Mass is expressive of our inner joy that Christ Jesus remains with us, through his Eucharistic gift of self. This is why it seems fitting to ask that we reacquaint ourselves with what the Church understands about the art of dignified and beautiful liturgy – a good foundation for all that we do.”  Archbishop Hebda

St. Patrick Parishioners – Itasca Procession

Some of our St. Patrick parishioners, along with the Troops of St. George, were able to be part of the Eucharistic Procession in Itasca this past weekend. Check out what Shaun O’Keefe shared about his experience:
“My family and I were fortunate enough to be a part of the Eucharistic procession in Itasca this weekend. The troops of St. George were part of the procession which was an amazing experience. There were roughly 9 bishops and 20 priests present for Mass and the procession. Here are a few pictures. St. Patrick’s was represented by my family, the Schulzetenbergs, and Joel, Deb, and Sarah Rhein. There may have been others that we didn’t run into. “
