Fundraising while you shop

What is Scrip?

Scrip is a gift card fundraising program.  Scrip gift cards are purchased from hundreds of retailers nationwide at a discount to our Parish.  With scrip fundraising, parishioners support to the Church by pay full value for these gift cards to make their everyday purchases (groceries, gas, clothes, restaurants, etc.).

How SCRIP Works?

The beauty of scrip gift card fundraising is its simplicity. It operates on a 1-2-3 step system

The difference between the face value and what St. Patrick Catholic Church pays is the profit.

Example: Total Face Value Discount Total Purchase Price Profit
100 People Order $50 Macy’s Gift Card $5,000 10% $4,500 $500
100 People Order $10 Panera Gift Card $1,000 9% $910 $90
Totals:  $6,000 $5,410 $590
