A Ministry of St. Patrick
To give local caregivers peace of mind while we sit with their loved one, so they can do important tasks, enjoy relaxation, and have fun.
Respite Care Ministry was started by loving people who know how much caregivers sacrifice to take care of the people they love. As much as caregivers love to take care of their loved ones, they need time for things like appointments, shopping, and to be able to recharge.
(Please note, you don’t have to be a member of St. Patrick or a Catholic to receive help.)
Frequency: 1-3 hours at a time. Up to 2x/week.
What we do: We will sit and be a companion for your loved one while you step away. We ask that you try and have the meals and restroom needs taken care of beforehand.
What we don’t do: Things like administering medication, bathing, getting dressed, drive to appointments, etc.
