– “What a beautiful gift shop we have right here at our parish. I love stopping in after mass to browse the many gifts, cards, books and novelties. When I’ve had questions or special requests, Darla Jean has always been so helpful and accommodating.”– Jackie Roberge
– “In 2019 Darla recommended an Advent book Eucharistic Meditations on Christ that has encouraged my spiritual growth. She also introduced my son to the series The Truth, The Big Picture and Weapons of War which has taught him the Catechism. We both appreciate having our gift shop at church.” – Mariella and Augustine
– “My testimonial of my first experience with Darla Jean in the bookstore at St. Patrick Catholic Church was most enlightening. I went inside looking for a bible for my teenage granddaughter. Darla walked me right over to where the bibles were and explained each one to me. I could feel her joy as she explained each one. Darla is very knowledgeable and at the same time spiritual as she spoke. To this day I see my granddaughter reading her bible. Darla has a way of making you feel comforted. She is definitely filled with the Holy Spirit. I have come to know Darla with our bible studies together. Darla is most fitting in the bookstore as she explains everything so well.” – Anonymous
– “The gift shop is great. Darla Jean is so helpful. I was looking for a specific daily meditation book. They didn’t have it so Darla ordered the deluxe leather edition for me. If they don’t have it, they know where to get it.” – Jerry Jones
