“I am love and Mercy itself. There is no misery that could be a match for My mercy, neither will misery exhaust it, because as it is being granted – it increases. The soul that trusts in My mercy is most fortunate, because I Myself take care of it.” Diary of St. Faustina, 1273

OUR MISSION

To help anyone and everyone cope with and heal from losing a loved one, whether the loss is recent or old. This program is free, you do not need to be Catholic to participate, and you can join at any time. Please consider joining us on this amazing journey of healing.

OVERVIEW

Oftentimes when a loved one dies and the funeral or celebration of life is over, you may find that life goes on for everyone else and you are left feeling empty and alone. When you try to talk to friends or relatives it seems that they just don’t “get it.” You may here things like “I know how you feel,” but only you know how you feel. We don’t claim to know how anyone feels, but we do understand how grief works. This program offers an all-encompassing curriculum for those experiencing losses of all types, no matter how recent or how long ago. The format includes time for sharing, videos, and topic-driven discussions.

OUR MISSION

To provide spiritual and pastoral support to mothers and fathers who are experiencing the loss of a child through miscarriage.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Recognizing the dignity of every human life from the moment of conception, and the need for parents to properly grieve, St. Patrick’s Pregnancy Loss Ministry provides the opportunity for a funeral Mass or memorial service and a Catholic burial in our cemetery for each child lost before birth, at no expense to the family. To learn more, please reach out to Shannon Dohrwardt, 763-326-2745.
