Matthew: The King and His Kingdom

Matthew: The King and His Kingdom is a twenty-four-session study that explores how Jesus fulfills God’s promises to Israel and establishes his kingdom on earth.

The Gospel of Matthew shows Jesus as the true King who fulfills the Law and the promises God made to his people throughout the Old Testament. Through Matthew’s careful references to the prophets, the Law, and the covenants of Israel, this Gospel shows how Christ brings God’s plan of salvation to completion and inaugurates the New Covenant. 

Guided by Jeff Cavins, this study will give you a clearer understanding of Christ as the fulfillment of God’s plan and discover what it means to live as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.

Dates: Thursday evenings, September 17 – December 17, 2026 & January 7 – April 1 2027

Time: 6:30-8:30pm in the Multi Purpose Area

REQUIRED: – Matthew Workbook $39.95  It offers questions, reflections, and applications for each study session.

OPTIONAL: Online Video Access: $12.95

Video includes 24 video sessions and a digital workbook.

Structure: How are the study sessions organized? What are the main components of each session?
Each session is broken into two parts: home preparation and small group meeting.

Cost: $39.95 + shipping for workbook that must be purchased through Ascension.  For the digital access, the cost is $12.95 per person which is an optional purchase.  (this is an adult study however, anyone 16 + is welcome)

You will be ordering your materials from Ascension and receiving them at your address.  Order in time to have them for the first class…Usually takes a week for delivery.
