Be empowered – every baptized person to identify, value, and nurture the role you play in the Body of Christ, because Christ has no hands and feet but us. If any part of the body is weak or undeveloped we all suffer.
Charisms- Discover Your Spiritual Gifts
Charisms are an expression of the grace of God, and therefore tied to the very lifeblood of the Church. When we let them go unnoticed, unseen, and unappreciated we are often inadvertently casting aside some of God’s greatest gifts as if they were only the wrapping paper.
If we want to embrace the vibrant freedom of life the Holy Spirit wants to give us, not just as individuals but as the Body of Christ, we need to do two things:
1. We need to know who we are in relationship to God and understand what He says about us so we can accept those truths for ourselves.
2. We need to identify, value, and nurture the gifts God wants to give us, including our charisms.
