William James Black
May 29, 1937 - November 16, 2020
William J. Black, age 83 of Ham Lake, MN, passed away November 16, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Josie; daughter, Jeanette (Jay), of Forest Lake MN; son, Dennis (Angie), of Cambridge, MN; daughter, Cindy (Gary), of Andover, MN; grandson, Garrett, of Blaine, MN; brother, David (Bonnie), of Esko, MN; special friends, John and Bonnie Grabeau, of Ham Lake, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, John and Hilda Black; sister and brother-in-law, Warren and Loretta Weske. Bill served proudly in the US Navy from 1954-1958. He was discharged from the US Naval Air Station in Hutchinson, Kansas in 1958. He was very proud to speak of his adventures by his many stories! He retired from the U of M in 2002. Bill will be greatly missed by family and many friends.

O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed.
