Harlan Herman Meyer, age 83, of Champlin. Born: June 30, 1936 in Garrison, Iowa and passed away June 21, 2019 after a long struggle with heart failure. Preceded by parents: William and Roberta (Selk) Meyer. Survived by loving wife of forty-six years, Joyce, children: Jeffrey (Carol), David (Lauri) and Brian (Lorain) Meyer and Jennifer (David) Beaulieu, grandchildren: Merritt Rimereit, Simon Meyer, Kyle and Christopher Meckley, 4 step-grandchildren, great-grandson: Johan Rimereit, 6 step-great-grandchildren, sister: Marjean Meyer, nieces and nephews: Dean Bechard, Michelle Carlson, Tim Schuller, Suzanne McNamara, Karen Renstrom, Mark Fellner, Clayton and Reed Fellner and Darla Eiden. Harlan, by profession, was a television director leaving WCCO-TV to form his own video production company, Tele-Producers, with partner Randy Berglin. In retirement he served his community, Nowthen, MN, as a city councilman and served on his parish council, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Oak Grove, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial
Funeral Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.
Lunch will be served in the Social Hall following Mass.
Interment St. Patrick Cemetery at a later date.
O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed.
