Al (Leonard) Senger

June 7, 1938 - February 24, 2021

Al (Leonard) Senger

Al (Leonard) Senger, went to heaven from his Mesa, AZ home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Al was a retired truck driver from East Bethel, MN.  And most recently became a full time resident of Mesa, AZ. He was a wonderful father of three, a heck of a Grandpa, and a loving, trusted Roadie to his musical wife, Angie.

Al had a fantastic sense of humor. He loved parties and was ALWAYS the “life” of the party. His love of country music proved instrumental in Angie making the switch from Rock and Roll to Country. He loved to dance! In recent years he would agree to only ONE dance per year! And it had to be a waltz.

“Play me the Waltz of the Angels.  And I’ll close my eyes and pretend.  Play me the Waltz of the Angels. So I can dance with my angel again.”

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Angie Senger. And three daughters Tammy McElwee (Scott), Terri Little and Lauri Bourgeois (Ted). Nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Sisters Tillie Vickstrom, and Freda Harp. Brothers Arnie Senger, Hank Senger and David Senger. Preceded in death by parents Maria and Alois Senger, brother Harry Senger, sisters Deloris Peterson, Vicky Johnson and Rose Haselius, and Grandson Kevin McElwee.

Thank you all for celebrating his life with us.
