Liturgy of the Word for Children
Children ages 3 years through Kindergarten are welcome to join us for this program.
Children participate in the opening of Mass with their parents. After the opening prayer, and prior to the 1st reading, children are dismissed with a blessing from Deacon or Father. Lessons about the Sunday Gospel reading are taught at a level children can understand. Children return to their parents in church just after the Prayers of the Faithful.
COVID-19 procedures: During this time of extreme caution, we have re-located Liturgy of the Word for Children to the Social Hall Carpeted area. Children will sit on their own carpet square keeping socially distant from others. Children will be dismissed to the back of the church to exit the area with their leaders.
Time: During the 9:00 am Sunday Mass, no registration required
