33 Days to Morning Glory
Marian Consecration Explained…
Tuesdays January 9 – February 13
6:15pm Mass; 7-8:30 Discussion
Registration Deadline is Tuesday, January 2, 2018
Have you ever heard of being consecrated to Jesus through Mary? What does that even mean?
Consecration means to set aside for a sacred purpose. Mary’s life was set aside for the sole purpose of serving our Lord. We, too, can completely give ourselves to Christ in a way that consecrates us to Him, through love and service.
This is a self-guided “retreat” that allows us to free ourselves from things of this world, and more deeply acquire the spirit of Jesus, through the Blessed Virgin – all in 33 days! This is a prayerful and focused method of drawing closer to Jesus than ever before. And in a time when the spiritual stakes have never been higher, consecration is a tried and true way of attaining holiness.
Don’t worry though. This isn’t difficult theology and outdated language. Fr. Gaitley’s person-to-person, conversational style will draw you in! He uses the Marian teachings of several modern day saints, simply and clearly.
This will bless even the busiest of people. So, if you’ve been thinking about deepening your knowledge of Marian devotion, and entrusting yourself to Jesus through her, this will give you a mix of self-study and small group learning.
This class includes 6 sessions over 6 weeks, and costs $35 to participate.
